eSAT is decommissioning on 1 March 2022 and the time is running out. Make sure you and your staff transitions to Online Services for Business (OSB) to lodge the following self-managed super fund (SMSF) related documents online:

• Audit Complete Advice (ACA)
• Auditor/ Actuary Contravention Report (ACR)

To access Online Services for Business, you need both:

• myGovID – this digital identity app is different from myGov account and you can download it to your smart device to prove who you are online.
• Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) – this authorisation service allows an individual to act on behalf of a business using myGovID.

Both these access ways of myGovID and RAM provide a simple, secure and flexible access to online services for business.

Step By Step Procedure To Get Started

Step 1: First of all, download myGovID app from the App Store or Google Play. Then, verify your identity by uploading at least two identity documents issued by the Australian government.

Step 2: You need to link your myGovID to your business using Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) as the principal authority. If you are not the principal authority, you will need to ask the RAM to authorise you to act on behalf of the business.

Step 3: You can now log in to Online Services for Business using your myGovID.

In case, you are a business owner, who allows its employees to access Online services for business for ‘preparing’ or ‘preparing and submitting’ ACA and ACRs on behalf of your business, you’ll need to authorise them in RAM. No matter, how many employees you have, the process is the same.

Before the authorisation process, make sure all of them have their myGovID and should set it up using their personal email address.
